Look After Yourself. A phrase we generally use when parting ways and saying good bye to others. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our busy lives, taking a break to look after yourself generally feels like a luxury. We often find ourselves believing that pushing ourselves to the point of exhaustion will lead to greater rewards, when deep down we know this usually isn’t the case.

In your quest to achieve your dreams and live a happy and fulfilling life, looking after yourself isn’t just important, it’s crucial. To prevent burnout and keep stress from taking over, you need to take the time to look after yourself. Besides, taking breaks to look after yourself will help you reflect, refocus and re-energise especially when solving difficult problems.

This year we (Inspirited Minds) are asking Muslims to share how they look after themselves, from a holistic perspective, at times of stress, struggles, and setbacks.
