Don’t Be Ashamed

I do not want you to be ashamed of having to deal with stress, struggles, setbacks and more seriously – mental health. It is all about how you #LookAfterYourself and these are some of the things I suggest you do more of this year in order to relax your mind, body, and soul. 

1) Exercise! Exercise! Exercise! Start off with long walks whilst observing God’s creation. Your body needs a balance between cardio exercise and a controlled exercise such as pilates. In 2019, make time to take care of your physical well-being. 

2) Stay connected with God through salah, dhikr, and recitation of the Holy Qur’an because ultimately it is God who has been there with us on our journey. This common phrase in the Holy Qur’an is certainly thought-provoking and yet comforting, ‘To him, we belong and to him, we shall return.’ 

3) Do more of what you love which is cooking, decorating, sketching, writing, travelling and so forth! Your mind needs creativity and passion. It can also mean starting something you have never done before! And so I suggest you step out of your comfort zone. 

Be happy with the little things and you know deep down what I mean by this ? ?. Here is you on your 30th birthday where you played Crazy Golf with some lovely friends.
